Product Selection

CORVEL 10600 Series epoxy coatings for internal corrosion protection have been extensively tested in the field and evaluated under various autoclave test conditions. Special autoclave tests using any combination of temperature, pressure, and environment can be performed to assist in material recommendation. The general data as listed will provide a guide for your application. Consult your Morton Powder Coatings sales representative and perform your own tests to determine which product is suitable for your requirements.

Precautions

It is recommended that the area adjacent to the coating operation to properly ventilated and that cure ovens are exhausted to the outside atmosphere. Since all dusts are respiratory irritants, inhalation should be avoided. If skin contact occurs, wash with soap and water. In the event of eye contact, flush with water immediately and seek medical attention. Dust clouds of any finely  divided organic material can be ignited by electrical sparks or open flame. Dust collection equipment should be provided with adequate explosion venting. All equipment should be grounded to avoid buildup of static electricity.

Storage

Fine powders are hygroscopic and should be stored in sealed containers when not in use. CORVEL coatings are designed to have excellent package stability. To ensure maximum shelf life, store in dry conditions at temperatures less than 70F (21.1°C)
